Golden Hour
During my senior year at Salisbury University, I was appointed head of the logo committee, where I was tasked with guiding a group of designers in the creation of the official event logo for the university’s 70th Biannual Senior Art Exhibition. I was also a member of the web design committee and I developed the final logo into a GIF to be used on the event website.

Just as the sun sets and briefly paints the world in a golden glow, “golden hour” was chosen as the theme for the exhibition to represent the momentary reflection and celebration for the senior artists as they transition into the next phase of their life journeys.
Inspired by beachy, retro themes and the colors invoked by a sunset, I designed the event logo with a curvaceous seventies-style font and a minimalistic logo that would be easy for both printing and digital use.
